JG Summit Holdings, Inc. and GMA Kapuso Foundation tie – up again with its Give – a Gift Event in 2009. The gift – giving activities were held last December 8 and 9, 2009 at Tom’s World Robinsons Galleria. The Children’s Library joined entertained more than 200 kids from Pateros and Valenzuela   through fun and games and a storytelling session.

The Children’s Library participated with Robinsons Malls in putting up The Gift of Change event last November 26, 2009 at Maria Orosa Atrium, Robinsons Manila.

As part of the annual coin bank project of Robinsons Malls for the Serviam Foundation, a culminating activity of fun and learning such as watercolor lesson from Faber-Castell, games at Tom’s World, Storytelling session from The Children’s Library and magic show was given to 120 students from the Jaime Cardinal Sin Learning Center.
     
Universal Robina Corporation, Summit Media Publishing, Saizen and Mini Stop lent their support to this event. 

Under Serviam Foundation, Inc., Jaime Cardinal Sin Village is located in Punta, Sta. Ana, Manila where 900 in-need families call it home.  This thriving community has a learning center, a basketball court, a recycling center, community-run businesses, and seven tenements.  School year 2009-2010 saw the entrance of the first batch of high school students of the Jaime Cardinal Sin Learning Center.

The Children’s Library joins again the Municipality of Imus, Cavite, Sanggunian ng Kabataan and Jollibee Robinsons Place Imus in putting up the Mobile Reading Tour “Mga Kwentong Pambata sa Aming Barangay” BATCH IV for seven (7) selected barangays located in Imus, Cavite.

The Mobile Reading Tour Batch IV was held last September until November 2009. A total of 346 participants attended the event which was filled with warm – up activities for kids, Jollibee Mascot appearance and Fun and Games. Storytelling sessions and storybooks from TCL were also available for browsing during the event.

The Mobile Reading Tour Batch IV visited the following seven (7) Imus Barangays:

The Mobile Reading Tour was made possible through the support of the Municipality of Imus Honorable Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi, Sanggunian ng Kabataan Imus, Jollibee Robinsons Place Imus, Mr. Victor Cuarto and the seven (7) Barangay Captains in the abovementioned Imus barangays.
